Biscuits are huge and delicious! Lots of great options for breakfast fare. The grits are also noteworthy. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just good food. Highly recommended for a casual breakfast.

The restaurant was packed, but the line moved quickly and we had our food within five minutes — incredibly fast considering how busy they were. Portions are huge — way more food than we expected — and the biscuits are massive. We ordered the fried bologna biscuit (added egg, cheese, and tomato), the hot honey fried chicken biscuit (added bacon and cheese), the brisket biscuit (added bacon and cheese), and a hash brown. Every single item was absolutely delicious. The biscuits were fantastic, and the quality of the meats, eggs, cheese, and bacon was outstanding. The only disappointment was that the brisket doesn’t automatically come with BBQ sauce, and it’s a 1 upcharge to add it. Other than that, everything exceeded expectations. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating overall. The indoor dining area is a bit small, but there’s ample outdoor seating available on both sides of the restaurant. Just a heads-up — if the weather is bad, indoor space may be limited. Highly recommend!!!

Been wanting to go here so badly. Lucked up and got the chance. Was not disappointed whatsoever. I would've never thought about a brisket and egg biscuit but it works so good! They are huge FYI. They've got a lot of options to choose from which was nice not to see the same bland stuff most breakfast places have. I will be back as soon as I can. I wish we had one closer (Blacksburg, Christiansburg area of y'all read this). Don't hesitate on this place and go support. You are paying for exactly what you get. Great job on the food SMBCo.

Exceptional. Delicious. I had the hot honey chicken and grits. There’s nothing like this in the Midwest.

Biscuits were delicious They were huge. I bought 2 chocolate coffee biscuits for my son-in-laws. They loved them. I bought several bags of mix to take home to the family. I loved the homey country feel. I was amazed at the lines for drive-through.

Quick service with friendly staff. The line can get long, but moved quick. Inside seating is limited. THE FOOD THOUGH?? I would fly from SF again just to go to this spot. Fresh biscuits, super flaky and moist. Had the spam egg and cheese and Nashville Hot, both were tremendously fire. The habanero hot sauce they stock is a great addition.

Scratch does breakfast right! Biscuits were great. But we really appreciated all of the non-meat options. Really liked the Jerry Garcia. And that curried potato and pea patty was fabulous! Loved all the quirky flavor profiles served right along all the mainstays you'd expect. Coffee was perfect. Staff was really friendly and happy to answer questions. We were happy to find a table and just hang out after a morning hike. Nice that there is lots of overflow parking because this place is so good it has to be hopping during peak times!
